Kismet are a UK based manufacturing company operating from a Large purpose-built factory on a six-acre site. They produce over 200 Tons of produce per week and have over a 100 members of staff on site.

The Criteria:
Install a new Blast Freezer and increase refrigeration power The client needed this project to be completed in a timely manner so The refrigeration, electrical and cold room fabrication teams worked on the big blast freezer equipment changeover from a Thursday night through til a Tuesday morning to ensure minimal impact on our client’s production line while still producing maximum results.

In the space of this long weekend our work has increased refrigeration power by 33% and air volume by 300%, with a new friterm floor mounted cooler installed with a 4x interlaced 15kW circuits, providing a total of 60kW at -40ºc.We also installed a new control panel with resource data management controls, alongside fabrication works including a new plenum ceiling and 2 new sliding doors and frames.
