This was another case of out with the old and in with the new at Southampton University.

We provided our client with up to 30% energy savings compared with the previous installation - just in time for the freshers to move in! The outdated 5 fixed-speed condensing units were replaced with just 2 Danfoss inverter drive condensing units to complete this project, with the new Arneg S.p.A. Panama and Osaka cabinets looking as fantastic as always!

To reject the heat from the refrigeration and to keep the cool, the Daikin VRV4I system with an internal ducted remote condenser will draw air from and rejects heat at high level linear grilles on the front elevation of the store, with heat recovery units also being installed to keep the store and back of house areas ventilated!
